… a day in our office – Sharyn Raffa

The lovely Sharyn joined us six months ago today. We love her calming influence, her cheery optimism and her fabulous fritatta dishes she brings in. Unprompted, Sharyn sent us this blog… and we think it says it all.

We share an office space of 25sqm and we love it. We overtalk each other when the phones go and often one of us is walking out on the street where it’s quieter to take an important call or negotiate a purchase.

It’s cosy, it’s loud and it’s fun.

We’re so glad you are having a ball Sharyn. When it doesn’t feel like work, it’s so much more enjoyable. Here’s to many, many more happy milestones….

“It’s been 6 months since I joined the team at Cate Bakos Property and I’ve already learnt so much about real estate.  I had to hit the ground running in August 2015 as it was the beginning of spring madness and Cate and Amy were buying properties like hot cakes, so it was all go go go!!  I soon realised in real estate the meaning of the word REAL is dealing with real people and real emotions and the girls go on a real journey with all of our clients.  This journey involves a gamut of communications, processes, property inspections and many emails back n forth to ensure they find the perfect property which is suitable to the client. The “behind the scenes” working for a buyers advocate has opened up my eyes and I would never buy a property without hiring one as they have access to off-market properties, have formed relationships with agents, many useful property tips, comparable sales data and so much more…It’s such an inspiration working with two amazing women who are willing to help and share all their knowledge about this exciting, fast-paced property industry. I feel lucky to be a part of this all-power girl team and its always exciting each day I enter the office as there is a story about a client who has bought or is unsure about a property or a negotiation is underway from the morning and sometimes continuing until late hours into the night, then sometimes changing their minds the next morning!!  So each day is different and here’s to continued learning on this adventurous property ride!’
